My characters

Art References for my OCs and some brief info. They don't really have personalities, besides some basic stuff, as Im not really into character writing. This might change, though.

I have other OC too, but they're not included because I haven't drawn them more than once. Maybe I'll add them sometime.

Fern

My main fursona and the one I usually present myself as. Not much else to say since most of information is on the reference.

Here's some trivia I have about her:

She was conceptualized in the summer of 2021.
She transitioned before I did.
The name Fern was a name i considered for my own, but after choosing "Evie", I felt like "Fern" shouldn't go to waste. So I gave it to my sona.
Cassette is a sort of last name. It's mostly for branding... I guess?
Before Cassette was the last name there was "Spaget". Cuz you know, ferrets are long, like spaghetti?
Early ideas for her had a straw hat as a part of her outfit. It was dropped because I struggled to draw hats back then.
She also had a poncho for a while, because I like ponchos, but also because I wasn't that good at shoulder region of the body. Once I felt confident with my skills, the poncho was taken off.

Maple

A truesona. She's mostly identical to Fern, except for the fact that she's a doe. Also, she can glow in the dark.

M0-52 "Moss"

Note: the weird pile on one of the faces is not poop, but rather moss that grows on MO-52. Maybe a suble hint on electric properties of it. | Company's name is CombCo.

A floting robot with clumps of moss that had grown on her, hence the name. My only non furry OC to date. Comes from the same setting as Aloe.

I wanted to make a robot OC with plant growth. Prophetbot and Proto from OneShot were my initial inspirations, but I also wanted something a bit original. The first version of her had a humanoid body, and it looked baaad. So I looked at P03 from Inscryption (no legs and ability to hover), and Mettaton (hose arms), and that's how this design came to be!

Aloe

Note: She ususally wears both gloves.

A lab rat. She's inspired by Eight From Splatoon and Chell fron Portal. Comes from the same setting as Moss.

Orion

My third OC, a genderless cat that sorta serves. They have cool patterns meant to resemble nebulas (they can be placed in different spots).

It came to me in a dream, a weird one too on top of that. That said, I tried to improve my original vision with more color and patterns.

Pine

My second OC, a jackalope. Maple kind of replaced her (Pine wasn't a true sona though). Despite that, I still hold her dearly.

Aurora Trail

Used a base for this cuz I can't draw feral for life

The latest OC to be drawn more than once. I kinda have MLP brainrot at the moment, you see. She sorta represents my hyperactive side, an uncommon aspect of mine to witness, but one that still exist.

Mmm, microplastics.
